• Sa mère prend sous son aile une transfuge fraîchement débarquée de chez les Dragons. Ses horaires sont chargés ce qui conduit les deux enfants à se débrouiller souvent seules et donc à se rapprocher. Rowan est un véritable mystère avec sa rigidité et ses manières étranges, mais ça ne la rend que plus charismatique à ses yeux.

• Mort de Rowan. C'est le début d'une croisade pleine de vengeance qui faillit bien la consumer.

Elle a longtemps été dans l'ombre de sa mère, la grande Siri, une figure important dans le domaine médical chez les Vipères. On s'attendait d'ailleurs à ce qu'elle suive ses traces, mais elle n'en a jamais manifesté l'envie.

Rey • Elles en ont fait du chemin. Si on lui avait dit qu'elles arriveraient un jour là où elles se trouvent, Ofélia ne l'aurait pas cru. Leur relation est passée par bien trop de drames et il s'en est fallu de peu pour qu'elle prenne un tournant funeste. Elle a été l'une des personnes les plus décisives dans son évolution et, au début, c'était surtout pour le pire. Si elle l'a longtemps détesté, Rey lui a aussi appris à pardonner. Il s'agit de son amie la plus précieuse, quelqu'un qui sera toujours un peu à part.
